With the releases coming thick and fast, quality control can tend to suffer. Do not fear, PETS012 is for us, one of the labels finest to date and yet again finds them unearthing new Polish talent in Chmara Winter. Not much is known of the duo from Bydgoszcz, and Bartłomiej Chmara and Krzysztof Winter like it this way. Having only recently teamed up to produce, they are keen to let the music do the talking and boy does it speak volumes. "Powidlo" matches melancholic beauty with an attractive deepness which will see it played by all.
On the remix front Pets have drafted in two of the very best, Marcin Czubala and Lee Jones. Mobilee man Czubala whilst keeping things deep with lush waves of synth, also injects enough drive for the dancefloor. MyMy man Lee Jones as expected, goes beyond boundaries and treats us to a beautifully creative rework, as only he can.
